The location for all of the temple in Prambanan are close enough, so you can do one day trip for all temples. The coolest way to get around of the temple at Prambanan is by bicycle. Don't be confused to find a bike rental. There are many bike rental around Prambanan,and the price was cheap.

Let's start touring! You could take the starting line of Prambanan temple, followed by a tour around it. If you ride to the north, you can find 'Sewu Temple' which still in an area with Prambanan Temple.

From the temple Sewu, oars your bike to the temple Plaosan which is located approximately 400 meters to the east, adjacent to the Village of Plaosan. While on that place, you will be faced with a Buddhist temple that has been restored, do not miss the debris scattered stones from the temple.

No less interesting of this place is the discovery of new temple site. Travelers can be watch from close the discovery of new sites in the rice fields owned by residents. The new site that found by archaeologists are the former of irrigation channels, pool and Plaosan outer fence.

From the temple of Plaosan, then the journey continues to the south, to Sojiwan temple, in the village of 'South Kebon Dalem', Prambanan. This temple, recently restored and now stands intact, even though damaged during the 2006 earthquake.

Temple Kedulan is quite interesting to visit because of relatively new. The temple was recently discovered in the 1990s by residents while processing fields. The temple was discovered at a depth of about 3 meters from the ground. The condition of the temple was still buried in the soil and sand the rest of the eruption hundreds of years ago.

after visiting the temple Kedulan Done, it's time to go back to Prambanan to the east with a distance less than 2.5 km.

Exploring the uniqueness of Cetho Temple, Central Java

The countryside on Gunung Lawus slopes is amazing. Rolling hills, valleys and plateaus, coffee groves and vegetable plots give way to tea plantations at about 1,000 m. At 1,400 m and some fifteen kilometres from Temple Sukuh lies Temple Cetho which sits at the top of a steeply sloping Hindu village of the same name. It dates from the same period as Sukuh, but could not be more different. It is an exquisitely attractive place, even if little visited.

Temple Cetho (Javanese spelling: ceth) is a Hindu temple-style relics of the end of the Majapahit (15th century). The first scientific report about it was made by Van de Vlies in 1842. A.J. Bernet Kempers also do some research about it. Excavation (digging) for the purpose of reconstruction was first performed in 1928 by the Archaeological Department of the Dutch East Indies. Under the circumstances when the ruins began to study, this temple has not aged that much with Sukuh. This temple is located in the hamlet of Ceto, Gumeng Village, District Jenawi, Karanganyar district, at an altitude of 1400m above sea level.

When was found, the state of this temple is a stone ruins on the fourteen-story plains, extending from the west (lowest) to the east, although at present there are only 13 terrace, and the restoration carried out only nine terraces. Structure with many terraces, making up the prediction of the original culture revival ("punden staircase") at the time, which is synthesized by the Hindu religion. This suspicion is strengthened by the body shape in relief that like a puppet, which is similar to the depiction in Sukuh.


In the "temple Cetho" there is a symbol of phallus (penis, male genitalia) about 2 meter long, equipped with a decorative piercing (piercing) of ampallang type.
In addition there are depictions of other animals, such as horseshoe crabs, frogs, and crayfish. Animal symbols that exist, can be read as "suryasengkala" with the number of 1373 Saka, or 1451 in the modern era.

Bawomataluo Village of Nias, North Sumatra

 Bawomataluo Village, North Sumatra, is a traditional village which is quite popular in South Nias regency. The tourism village is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists. Bawomataluo means hill of the sun. From its position alone, the village has been able to attract tourists to visit. Consistent with the name of this village is located in the hills with the cool air. Uniquely in the Village Bawomataluo surface is composed by rocks, different from the other Regional wich covered by ground.

It is said that the village has existed since hundred years ago, or more precisely the megaliths age. As the evidence, in this village there are remaining rubble at that time. For example, King Nias Traditional House is now a residence for the fourth descendant of King Nias. There was also consensus hall that the seat is made from rocks.

In this place, tourists will also find the greatest complex of Nias traditional house. Sianok canyon, Its beauty Make Anyone Fall In Love!

"Sianok Canyon" or "Valley Pendiang" is the most beautiful destinations in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. precisely located in the border town of Bukittinggi in District IV Koto, Regency of Agam, West Sumatra. Here, you can see the valley which has towering cliffs. Its beauty will make anyone fall in love.

For nature lovers would be familiar with this place. a steep green valley that has a depth of about 100 m which stretches along 15 km with a width of about 200 m and below the winding creek flowing between the crevices of cliffs against a background of Mount Merapi and Mount Singgalang.

The beauty of the "canyon Sianok" can be seen from Panorama Park in Bukittinggi or you can also go directly to the canyon, which is a residential area and paddy fields. To enjoy the view from the park, visitors can pay an entrance fee of Rp. 3,000 each person. Besides the beauty of the canyon, visitors can also visit the Japanese bunker at the bottom of the canyon. Sianok canyon is the most beautiful places in West Sumatra, especially at sunrise and sunset.
